Macie LaRue is Southeastern Louisiana’s high-leverage ace with a proven swing-and-miss bite
In the 2026 season, Macie LaRue has continued to anchor SE Louisiana’s pitching staff, entering April with a 5-2 record, 2.38 ERA and one save while helping power a team that’s been one of the Southland’s toughest outs. She was also ranked No. 54 in D1Softball’s preseason Mid-Major Top 100 after a 2025 breakout in which she went 19-3 with a 2.29 ERA and 128 strikeouts. The big sell? She competes like a bulldog, misses bats, and gives her team a real “circle leader” presence.
