Peyton Welker brings intriguing upside, but current college stats are still a blank slate
Welker is listed as a right-handed pitcher for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, but the available roster data does not include current college season statistics, so there is no verified performance trend to evaluate yet. The clearest differentiator in the public recruiting profile is her pitching profile and dual-position background, which suggests some versatility, but there is not enough reliable data here to project specific strengths such as command, velocity, or strikeout ability. For a team, she profiles more as a low-information developmental add than a proven production piece right now.
