Elite rim protector with historic CBU shot-blocking production
Zach Pirog is a defense-first center whose calling card is rim protection: in his CBU career, he finished with 100 blocks, ranking No. 5 all-time in program history, and his 49 blocks in a season ranked No. 4 all-time at CBU. He’s a good fit for teams that want a true interior anchor, because he brings proven shot-blocking, size, and efficient finishing around the rim; his offensive profile is more complementary than featured, but his value rises if your roster needs a steady paint deterrent and a disciplined, low-drama big man.
