J. Marxen brings local leadership and pace to HPU’s backcourt
J. Marxen is a homegrown Hawai‘i guard whose best calling card is leadership: HPU says he brings speed, organization, and a strong connection to the local basketball community, while his Mililani résumé includes an OIA title, a state runner-up finish, and a 42–2 league record. He also showed balanced production in high school as a steady guard who could score, distribute, and pressure the ball. The fit is strongest for a team that wants a quick, high-IQ guard who can stabilize the offense and elevate the locker room.
