Former JU basketball standout Jaylen Jordon brings rare size and upside to Florida’s TE room
Jaylen Jordon is an intriguing 6-foot-6, 240-pound tight end prospect because he brings a basketball-to-football profile: length, athleticism, and natural rebounding-style body control that Florida said stood out at Pro Day. In 2024-25 basketball at Flagler, he averaged 13.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 20 blocks, while high school reports noted 20 points and 8 rebounds per game, plus MVP-level production. He is still a developmental bet at football, but his physical tools, fresh tread, and uncommon ceiling make him a worthwhile fit for a staff willing to coach the transition.
