Alex Gomez brings a starter’s frame, strike-throwing upside, and senior-year polish to the Dons’ staff
In the 2026 season, Alex Gomez is listed by San Francisco as a 6-foot-2 senior right-handed pitcher from Laney JC, which points to a mature arm with some college mileage and a ready-to-compete profile for the Dons’ rotation or bullpen[1][2]. The biggest selling point is the combination of size, experience, and right-handed depth—useful traits for a staff that values innings-eaters and pitchers who can handle pressure without looking rattled. If your team wants a polished competitor rather than a pure projection arm, Gomez fits the “help us now” mold.
