poised Wisconsin lead guard with elite shot-making and veteran control
Koenig was a high-end Wisconsin point guard recruit, ranked No. 34 nationally by 247Sports, and his profile centered on leadership, passing vision, and shooting. In college, he became a steady, experienced floor general who could stretch defenses with 3-point range and create offense without forcing the issue. What makes him valuable is the combo of calm decision-making, big-game poise, and perimeter scoring—useful for teams that need a reliable guard who can organize, space, and raise the basketball IQ of the lineup.
