Kate Trudgen brings contact bat, hustle, and lineup flexibility to Holy Cross
In the 2025 season, Trudgen was an immediate impact freshman for Holy Cross, appearing in 37 games with 32 starts and hitting .286 with 26 hits, four runs, and four RBIs, while also finishing with a six-game hit streak and a home run in the season finale.[1] By 2026, she has continued to contribute in the outfield with a more contact-oriented profile, including a go-ahead two-run single in a comeback win over Lafayette, which shows she can deliver in pressure moments.[7] Coaches described her as super athletic and intense, with a game that elevates teammates on both offense and defense.[5]
