Parker Ostach keeps bringing real value for Western Michigan in center field
In the 2026 season, Parker Ostach has been a steady two-way contributor for Western Michigan, hitting .258 with a .701 OPS while also delivering timely extra-base production, including a two-RBI double against UMass on April 4, 2026[1][3][13]. She has shown the kind of glue-player traits coaches love: speed, situational awareness, and willingness to do the little things, like laying down a sacrifice bunt in March 2026[10][12][15]. The academic side matters too—she earned Academic All-MAC recognition in June 2026 with a 3.78 GPA, which says a lot about her discipline and fit in a program[5][8].
