Jack Whitman brings elite finishing and frontcourt efficiency to William & Mary
In his 2016-17 season, Whitman was a highly efficient forward for William & Mary, shooting .660 from the field and ranking among the CAA leaders in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, and offensive rebounds.[2] His calling cards were rim-level efficiency, physical rebounding, and interior defense, and he even battled through the flu to produce in conference play, which speaks to a tough, high-motor profile.[2] He looks like a strong fit for a team that needs a low-usage, high-efficiency frontcourt piece rather than a volume scorer.[2]
