SEC-Ready Lefty With Big-Time Closing Stuff
Walker Hooks is Ole Miss’ rising **late-inning weapon**: in 2026 he posted a 2.43 ERA with 61 strikeouts in 55.2 innings, earned nine saves, and handled high-leverage tournament work with poise. His best differentiator is command—he paired strong strikeout volume with very few walks, and he’s been especially tough in SEC play, where he led the league in ERA and WHIP during conference games. If you want a **confident, strike-throwing left-hander** who can start, relieve, or close, he looks like a strong fit.
