Caruso’s Texas A&M legacy: elite playmaking, disruptive defense, and winner’s mentality
Alex Caruso is no longer a current Texas A&M player, but his Aggie profile still screams “team fit” if you want a guard who can organize an offense and wreck one on the other end. In his Texas A&M career, he finished as the school’s all-time leader in assists (649) and steals (276), helped lead the 2016 Aggies to a 28-win season, an SEC regular-season title, and a Sweet 16 run, and earned All-SEC and All-Defensive recognition. He was valued for toughness, intensity, and high-IQ winning basketball.
