Lee'Andre Howard brings rare size and rim protection to MVSU
In the 2021 season, Lee'Andre Howard was a 7-foot-1 freshman center at Mississippi Valley State who led the team with 16 blocks despite appearing in only 15 games, which is exactly the kind of shot-altering presence coaches crave. His biggest differentiator is simple: elite height, legitimate rim protection, and natural defensive gravity around the basket. The tradeoff is that the public record is thin on broader offensive production, so he reads more as a high-upside interior anchor than a polished featured scorer.
