Dom Rodriguez brings veteran pop to Arizona’s outfield mix
In the 2026 season, Arizona senior Dom Rodriguez appeared in 16 games with eight starts and hit .152 with two doubles, two home runs, and five RBI, including a three-run homer in the finale against Oklahoma State[1]. What makes him interesting is the power-over-bat-to-ball profile: he’s a mature, right-handed hitter with real extra-base thump, and his best stretches show he can change a game quickly with one swing[1][11][13]. The fit question is simple—if a team wants older, physical corner-outfield depth with some punch and experience, he’s a useful piece, but he’s more of a role player than a high-average anchor[1][12].
