Versatile, high-IQ forward who gave Alabama an all-around jolt
In the 2020-21 season, Jordan Bruner was a productive, multi-tool forward for Alabama, averaging 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks in 18.1 minutes while shooting 43.4% from the field and 32.8% from three. He came in as a Yale graduate transfer with a rare blend of rebounding, passing and rim protection for his size, and Alabama staff highlighted his First Team All-Ivy pedigree. The big caveat: his college arc was interrupted by knee trouble, so the upside came with real availability risk.
