Joe Pitts brings a big-frame, strikeout-backed relief profile to UConn
In the 2026 season, Joe Pitts appeared in one game for UConn out of the bullpen and made his debut at Arizona State, after missing the 2025 season due to injury. The appeal is obvious: at 6-foot-5, he has a starter’s build, a power arm, and a track record from Columbia Basin College where he went 4-0 with a 3.34 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 59.1 innings in 2024. If your team wants upside with some injury-risk seasoning, Pitts is the kind of arm that can quietly become a sneaky weapon.
