Utah Tech’s Jackson Bell brings welcome-room poise, academic discipline, and upside on the mound
In the 2025 season, Jackson Bell’s Utah Tech line was rough statistically—0-1 with an 8.31 ERA in 8.2 innings—but the Trailblazers clearly valued him as a scholarship right-handed pitcher with size (6'2", 195) and a strong team fit. He also showed off-field reliability by landing on Utah Tech’s President’s List in fall 2025, a nice tell that the work ethic is real. The headline here isn’t gaudy numbers; it’s developmental upside, coachability, and the kind of grounded personality that can fit a pitching staff looking for a steady builder rather than a finished product.
