7-foot Georgetown anchor who finally turned patience into production
In the 2016 season, Bradley Hayes emerged as a rugged, old-school center for Georgetown, giving the Hoyas efficient scoring, reliable rebounding, and a physical interior presence after years of mostly limited minutes.[4][5][6] His calling card was simple but valuable: he finished well around the rim, rebounded at a high level, and brought a grown-man frame that made him hard to move on the block.[5][6] The concern was fouls and limited range, but if a team needed a dependable paint defender and blue-collar presence, Hayes fit the mold nicely.[7][13]
