Locher Brings Poise, Lefty Value, and Academic-Steady Reliability in Hofstra’s Circle
In the 2026 season, Jillian Locher has been a useful left-handed pitching option for Hofstra, including a 6.2-inning shutout win over Saint Peter’s and multiple relief/workload appearances for a Pride team that finished 31-23 in the CAA[6][15]. Her value goes beyond raw numbers: she’s a 5'7" L/L pitcher who gives lineups a different look, competes in meaningful spots, and has also earned Easton/NFCA academic honors, signaling the kind of dependable, coach-friendly fit that usually travels well.
