Freddie Wilson brings a long, twitchy edge profile to Georgia State
In the 2025 high school season, Freddie Wilson posted 66 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble for Spruce Creek, after a 2024 season with 65 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. He arrives at Georgia State as a 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive end with a reputation for active hands, effort, and backfield disruption rather than just raw size. The fit looks appealing for a staff that wants a developmental edge who can set the tone with intensity and grow into more pass-rush production.
