Jackson Lucas adds strikeout pop and summer-league polish to Troy’s left side
Jackson Lucas is a Troy left-hander whose arrow is pointing up in the 2026 season: he logged nine mound appearances and 6.1 innings as a first-year Trojan, then followed with a strong summer for Harrisonburg, going 3-0 with a 1.83 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 16 strikeouts in 19.2 innings. He was also a high-school two-way standout with a 1.87 ERA, 51 strikeouts and a .373 average as a junior, so the appeal is obvious: a competitive arm with pitchability, strikes, and some sneaky athleticism. If you want a developing LHP who can miss bats and keep traffic down, he’s worth a look.
