Big Sky Title Pitcher with Rising Strikeout Potential
RJ Parra is a Weber State right-handed pitcher who proved her value by helping the Wildcats secure a 2025 Big Sky Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament win, showcasing she can perform under pressure in critical moments[1]. While her 2026 ERA sits at 5.86 across 14 appearances, her 2025 season demonstrated a developing strikeout ability with 12 Ks in 30.2 innings, indicating a high ceiling for refinement[1][4]. Parra differentiates herself with a fearless intensity; as a freshman, she faced a lead-losing situation against Utah State and surrendered four home runs but remained in the circle, revealing a resilience that statistics alone miss[3]. She is an ideal fit for teams needing a battle-tested pitcher with championship experience and a personality that thrives in high-stakes environments, provided you have the coaching to lower her ERA and maximize her strikeout potential.
