Power right-hander with strikeout upside and room to keep rising
Keidel is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound freshman right-handed pitcher at Charleston Southern who arrives with a power profile and early strikeout ability, including a recent outing where he worked 5.1 innings, allowed 1 hit, and struck out 10 while touching 89 mph on the fastball. Prep Baseball listed him with a fastball up to 90 mph, and Charleston Southern has him ranked as its No. 23 RHP, suggesting real developmental upside. He looks like a good fit for a staff that values size, competitive intensity, and swing-and-miss stuff over polished command right away.[1][3][4]
