Edwin Bai brings two-way upside and winning pedigree to Columbia’s backcourt
Edwin Bai enters the 2025-26 season as a 6-foot-2 Columbia guard with real upside, but his impact so far has been limited: he appeared in four games off the bench and logged just 8 total minutes with no counting stats. What makes him interesting is the résumé, not the box score — he came from Sierra Canyon, where he won a California Division 1 state title in 2024-25, and he also played for Hong Kong’s U22 national team. He looks like a developmental piece with athletic pedigree, competitive experience, and room to grow into a useful rotation guard.
