Versatile Butler Forward with High-Impact Potential Despite Knee Recovery
Christian David, a 6-6 versatile forward for the Butler Bulldogs, stands out as a high-intensity athlete whose all-around offensive threat and solid shooting pedigree (once a top high school prospect) make him a compelling fit for teams needing size and finishing ability through contact. While his 2023-24 stats show modest averages (1.7 PPG, 1.4 REB), his differentiator lies in his intensity and recovery from a significant offseason knee surgery following the 2020-21 season, which caused him to miss four straight games. His personality traits reflect resilience and adaptability, making him a good fit for teams valuing grit over raw scoring, though his current injury history requires careful roster management.
