Casey Leavitt-McGee brings left-handed pop and positional flexibility to CSUB
Casey Leavitt-McGee looks like a classic low-maintenance, high-upside fit for Cal State Bakersfield: a left-handed 1B/OF with a track record of elite junior-college hitting, and his coach specifically praised his ability to hit at an elite level in both JUCO and summer ball. In the 2025 season at Laney College, he posted a .385 average with a 1.057 OPS, showing real damage potential rather than empty contact. He’s the kind of bat-first player who can plug into multiple spots and bring some juice—exactly the sort of guy you’d want if you need offense with a little versatility.
