UC Davis’ Record-Setting Tackling Safety
Rex Connors is a high-motor UC Davis defensive back whose calling card is production and reliability: he set the school’s all-time tackles record, showing uncommon range, physicality, and consistency in run support. Sources also note he earned an extra year of eligibility, a strong sign the staff still values his impact and leadership as he finishes his Aggies career. If you want a DB who brings urgency, toughness, and proven production rather than flash, Connors fits that profile well.
