Easton Romero gives Murray State a run-producing, switchblade bat behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Murray State catcher Easton Romero has shown real impact with power and on-base juice: he slashed .279/.432/.473 with 38 RBIs, 31 runs, six homers, and seven doubles across 51 games, and he’s already flashed early 2026 production as well[1][3]. At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, he brings a strong catcher’s frame and a left-handed bat that gives the Racers lineup some sneaky thump; he also drew enough attention to appear on the MVC preseason players-to-watch radar[1][14]. If you want a catcher who can help you win with contact, patience, and pop, Romero is worth the buzz[1][8].
