Madi Davis is a versatile Samford utility piece with room to climb
In the 2026 season, Madi Davis has been a depth-and-versatility option for Samford, appearing in 12 games but recording no at-bats and limited offensive production, which suggests a role built more on flexibility than box-score volume[5]. The 2026-27 roster lists her as a junior UTL from Dadeville, Ala., and her profile points to a right-handed bat and a multi-position background that can help a staff cover injuries, late-game substitutions, or matchup-driven moves[2]. She looks like a fit for teams valuing adaptability, roster balance, and steady practice intensity over immediate stat-sheet flash[1][2].
