The Redhawks’ record-setting, high-volume QB who can move an offense
Paxton DeLaurent has been one of Southeast Missouri State’s most productive quarterbacks, finishing his Redhawks career as the school’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns; in the 2024 season, he threw for 4,087 yards and 33 touchdowns with 15 interceptions while also adding 96 rushing yards and 3 scores. He’s a big, experienced field general at 6-foot-5 and 229 pounds who proved he can handle heavy passing volume, but his interception total shows the aggression that makes him both dangerous and a little boom-or-bust. If you want a QB who can carry an offense, he absolutely deserves attention.
