Veteran UCLA DB Jamier Johnson brings plug-and-play experience and steady coverage upside
Jamier Johnson is a seasoned, hometown UCLA defensive back with 33 career games, 11 starts, 47 tackles, 1 interception, and 3 pass breakups across Texas, Indiana, and UCLA through the 2025 season. He stands out for experience, versatility, and proven Big Ten/Power-conference reps, which makes him a useful fit if a team wants a reliable, mature DB who understands leverage and assignment football rather than just raw measurables. The main question is ceiling, not competence: he looks like a stable, intelligent piece with enough pedigree to help immediately.
