Veteran Tennessee Tech guard with shooting touch and steady backcourt value
In the 2018-19 season, Johnnie Vassar gave Tennessee Tech a reliable perimeter presence, posting 4.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game while hitting 40.0% from three over 20 games. What stands out is his guard feel: he spaced the floor, chipped in on the glass, and brought a mature, battle-tested edge after a winding path from Northwestern to Tennessee Tech. He profiles as a low-drama, role-ready backcourt fit who can help a team with shot-making, experience, and toughness.
