Jonny Lester brings veteran muscle and steady-corner reliability to WSU’s line
In the 2025 season, Jonny Lester started all 13 games for Washington State, mostly at left guard, with two starts at right tackle, and he did not allow a sack in the final four games; he also gave up just one pressure on 50 pass-blocking snaps in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win over Utah State. He’s a 6-foot-5, 312-pound redshirt senior from Spokane who’s been described as a late bloomer and a mild-mannered, dependable presence. The fit? Strong if you want a tough, experienced interior/spot tackle who brings stability and consistency over flash.
