power arm with a workhorse high school résumé, now getting tested in the circle for Utah Tech
Cemryn Pickett brings a legit pitcher profile to Utah Tech: a 5'9" right-hander who was a four-year starter at Berthoud High and finished with 662 career strikeouts, eight no-hitters, and one perfect game. In Utah Tech’s 2025-26 action, she’s been used as a starter in early-season games, including starts against UCSB, Utah State, BYU, Omaha, and UNLV, showing the staff trusts her in tough spots. The upside is clear: size, experience, and strikeout pedigree. The fit depends on whether her command and run prevention keep sharpening against Division I lineups.
