Marshall’s Rivers Johnson brings a pro frame and fresh-armed upside on the mound
Rivers Johnson is a 6-foot-5, 200-pound RHP and a 2026 redshirt freshman on Marshall’s roster, giving the Thundering Herd a big, projectable arm with starter traits and room to grow.[1][3] Publicly available roster info shows his right-right profile and freshman status, but not enough stat line data yet to label him by numbers; the early read is a long-levered pitcher with high-upside physicality and the kind of developmental ceiling that can fit a team looking for a moldable arm rather than an already-finished product.[1][3]
