NDSU's Scoring Machine and 2014 Summit League Legend
Taylor Braun, North Dakota State's all-time scoring standout with 1,651 points (17.6 ppg) over four seasons (2011-14), earned AP Honorable Mention All-American and Summit League Player of the Year honors in 2014 as a versatile 6-7 guard/forward who dominated with 672 rebounds, 340 assists, and 152 steals. His clutch free-throw prowess (top-4 in NDSU history) and relentless intensity shone in high-stakes games, like 23 points on 11-of-12 FTs vs. Morehead State. Now 34 and thriving overseas with Kaohsiung Steelers after G League stints, his pro journeyman grit makes him a proven winner—ideal for teams needing a battle-tested scorer.
