Big-bodied lefty with strikeout juice and swingman value for Norfolk State
In the 2026 season, Mac Yarbrough gave Norfolk State a power-armed left-handed presence before a season-ending injury cut his year short, which matters because his profile is built on bat-missing stuff and bullpen flexibility. At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, he brings a sturdy frame, left-on-left matchup appeal, and experience working both as a starter and reliever; in the 2024 season, he struck out 48 batters in 44.2 innings, and he also flashed summer-league swing-and-miss upside. If your staff wants a tough, physical southpaw who can eat leverage innings when healthy, he’s a real fit.
