Cody Sherrer gives Monmouth a projectable righty arm with upside
A 6-foot-1, 190-pound sophomore right-handed pitcher from Columbia, New Jersey, Sherrer stands out as a developing arm with clear velocity growth in his amateur profile and a track record that suggests upside as he matures. Perfect Game lists his best fastball at 88 mph and notes a +22 mph progression since 2019, which points to meaningful development rather than a finished product. He looks like a fit for a team that values strike-throwing growth, physical projection, and patient pitching development over instant impact.
