Logan Hughes is a polished, left-handed run producer with legit middle-order thump
In the 2026 season, Logan Hughes turned Texas Tech into a launchpad for elite offense, batting .375 with 18 home runs, 71 RBIs and a Big 12-best .510 on-base percentage while also showing mature strike-zone control with 50 walks and 33 strikeouts. He’s a fit for teams that want a disciplined, left-handed bat with real power, not just empty slugging: scouts praised his mature approach, hard contact and ability to keep the lineup moving. The only real question is glove/overall profile, but the bat plays loudly enough to answer most arguments.
