Odyssey Torres is a breakout bat and steady infield anchor for UMass
In the 2026 season, Odyssey Torres emerged as one of the Minutewomen’s most impactful hitters, posting a .414 average with 53 hits, 14 doubles, 3 home runs, 25 RBIs, 22 walks, and 7 steals in 46 games, good for All-MAC First Team and NFCA All-Northeast Region Second Team honors.[1][2][3] Her edge is a rare blend of contact, gap power, and plate discipline, plus enough defensive trust to stay locked in at shortstop; she also showed real clutch juice with a walk-off homer and a grand slam in conference play.[2][4][6]
