Carson Hinzman is Ohio State’s steadying force at center
In the 2025 season, Hinzman started all 14 games at center and logged 841 snaps, earning First Team All-American honors from the AFCA and a spot on the Rimington and Outland Trophy watch lists for 2026. He’s the Buckeyes’ veteran glue guy: technically sound, battle-tested, and trusted to turn a talented line into a cohesive unit. The selling point is reliability—he returned for a fifth year, brings 35 career starts, and gives Ohio State a seasoned leader who should fit any offense that values intelligence, toughness, and line communication.
