Brooklyn Compau is CMU’s workhorse right-hander with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Brooklyn Compau has been Central Michigan’s volume arm in the circle, logging 105.0 innings across 28 appearances and 22 starts while striking out 90 batters and throwing four complete games; she also delivered a shutout of North Dakota State and won a MAC Tournament elimination game over Miami (OH).[2] She’s the kind of pitcher coaches love: durable, competitive, and academically sharp, earning CSC Academic All-District honors in 2026. The occasional rocky outing shows she can be hit, but her workload, strikeout ability, and big-game resilience make her a legit fit for teams needing a dependable RHP.[2][6]
