Malayna Terrones brings speed, versatility and timely contact upside to Long Beach State
Terrones, a junior outfielder for Long Beach State in 2026, profiles as a compact, high-energy spark plug who can help in the outfield and create offense in small moments, including driving in runs as a pinch hitter or lower-order bat. Her 2024 stats show limited production overall, but recent game logs and roster usage suggest the staff values her versatility and situational impact. At 5-foot-0, she’s not a power-first player; her appeal is hustle, fit, and role-specific value for a team needing intensity, flexibility, and a bench piece who can change tempo.
