Barnes brings timely pop and steady hands for UNLV
In the 2026 season, Presley Barnes has been a clutch, middle-of-the-order spark for UNLV, hitting .288 with a .829 OPS, 34 hits, 23 RBI and four home runs while adding a reliable .984 fielding percentage at catcher/utility. She also delivered in the Mountain West tournament, going 4-for-7 with two doubles and an RBI, and was named to the MW All-Tournament team. The fit is obvious: she gives a roster a contact-oriented bat with extra-base upside, positional flexibility, and the kind of competitive edge that shows up in high-leverage moments.
