Fizzy freshman burst with local-star versatility
Tray Kinkle enters South Florida as a compact, multi-skill back with proven production at Holly Springs, where he was named Region 1-3A Player of the Year after a senior season featuring 1,325 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, plus 202 receiving yards and kickoff/defensive value. USF lists him at 5-foot-11 and about 200 pounds as a sophomore in 2026, and his appeal is his all-purpose juice, toughness, and ability to affect the game in more than one phase. He looks like a nice fit for a system that values versatility and high-effort play.
