Tashi Dorje has locked down San Diego State’s punter job with early 50-yard upside
Dorje appears to be San Diego State’s clear punter for 2025, with CBS Sports listing him as a junior and ESPN showing him active at punter; SI also reports coach Sean Lewis has “solidified” him in that role. In limited college action, he has flashed big-leg potential, including a 50.0-yard average on 3 punts in the 2025 regular season and a reported 50-yard average on three punts in spring work. His value is consistency, field-position upside, and a strong developmental track from a high-school resume built around kickoff power and touchback production.
