Joshua Fleming brings a deceptive lefty look — and Murray State needs the strikeouts to match
In the 2026 season, Joshua Fleming’s profile is that of a low-slot, left-handed arm with experience and swing-and-miss upside, but his current results have been uneven: he’s been listed with a 9.90 ERA over 10.0 innings for Murray State, while his earlier junior-college track record showed more polish with 46 strikeouts in 53.1 innings and a complete-game shutout in 2025. He’s a junior from Louisiana, 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds, which suggests he has to win with deception, tempo, and toughness rather than pure size. If a staff wants a grinder who can develop into a dependable matchup arm, there’s something to like here.
