Elijah McCadden brings a physical, low-maintenance two-way guard profile to Memphis
McCadden’s value is as a versatile, experienced guard who rebounds well for his position, defends with energy, and can slot into lineups without needing the ball to be effective; at Memphis in 2022-23, he averaged 7.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 24.7 minutes while appearing in all 35 games, and later showed scoring pop overseas with a 21-point debut for MZT Skopje in 2025. He’s most appealing as a connective piece: steady effort, positional toughness, and enough perimeter skill to keep defenses honest, though his shot-making has been the main swing skill.
