Alexandra Gonzales brings efficient, low-usage guard minutes for WNMU
In the 2025-26 season, Alexandra Gonzales has been a freshman guard for Western New Mexico, averaging 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in limited minutes while shooting 100% from the field, a tiny but tidy early sample. She looks like a composed, efficient role player rather than a high-volume scorer, with value in clean decision-making and hustle; the Mustangs’ own box score notes show she can chip in across the glass and on timely buckets. If your team wants a guard who fits into a system, not a spotlight, she’s the kind of steady piece that can quietly matter.
