Aissa Silva brings left-handed clutch pitching and big-game poise to ASU
Aissa Silva has been a high-leverage lefty for Arizona State, showing swing-and-miss stuff and a knack for handling pressure, including a nine-strikeout outing against New Mexico State in 2026 and a seven-strikeout, one-run effort versus CSU Bakersfield. She previously proved she can carry a staff, going 22-6 with a 3.25 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 2024 at Arizona, and reports note she thrives in tight, late-inning situations. The fit is strongest for teams needing a competitive starter who can change speeds, attack with poise, and stabilize close games.
